What excites you about being on the Dean's Leadership Team?
Being on the DLT offers the chance to collaborate creatively with a community of my peers who care deeply about the arts & humanities, as well as the ability to give back to and provide for the department which continues to instill in me a great deal of confidence and curiosity. I am looking forward to participating in open house and admissions events where I can engage with prospective/incoming students, offering guidance as an ambassador for Berkeley's Division of Arts & Humanities.
What advice do you have for new Berkeley students?
I highly encourage all new students to attend the office hours of their professors, as well as faculty and staff on campus whose research and classes intrigue them. Asking questions, following up on course material, and even just stopping by to say hello have all made me feel more at home on campus and led to new opportunities, simply through open dialogue and genuine curiosity.
