Application Review Questions
Applicants are advised to consider the following questions, which reviewers are likely to take into account when evaluating a project for HRF funding.
- Are the methods and questions of the proposed work clearly humanistic in nature?
- How strong is the proposal overall? Are the questions and their importance clear?
- How recent was the applicant's last funded leave and how many sabbatical credits does the applicant bring?
- Is the applicant at a critical career stage and would this award significantly enhance the applicant's advancement potential?
- Is the project at a stage where this grant would make a significant difference toward its advancement?
- Has the applicant secured any other funding sources?
