Karl Britto is an Assoicate Dean for the Division of Arts & Humanities. Britto is Associate Professor of French & Comparative Literature at UC Berkeley and is affiliated with the Designated Emphasis in Women, Gender, and Sexuality. He is the 2008 recipient of the Distinguished Teaching Award, UC Berkeley's highest honor for teaching, and recieved his Ph.D in French and M.A. in French from Yale University.
